Operation "Essential Harvest" could spell the beginning of a NATO Offensive against Islamic Terrorism
The declared NATO policy of going to Macedonia just to collect surrendered weapons could prove to be a pivot for the beginning of of a long-term and far-reaching NATO offensive against Islamic Terrorism. Nobody seriously believes NATO when it says that its troops are in Macedonia only to "collect" weapons that would be surrendered by the Albanian Islamists. Sooner or later, there would be clashes between NATO troops and the Albanian Islamic terrorists.
Footage of the aggressiveness of the Albanian Islamists is already being shown over BBC and CNN. This is a silent Western Build-up to show the Albanians as Islamic terrorists; as in fact they actually are.
The blundering Western policy of helping to create new Islamic terrorists, as the West has done so far in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo, seems to be finally taking an about turn in Macedonia.
The blasting of a 14th century Orthodox Monastery by the Albanian Islamic terrorists recently is an ominous indication of the shape of things to come.
Soon NATO is going to be embroiled in a full scale war with the Albanian wing of the Islamic Jihad. The Greeks have also become restless at the disturbance in Macedonia and they may find themselves sucked into a new Balkan War. A war that will make the suggestion of a comprehensive global Pact to fight Theology-inspired Terrorism, more relevant and impelling.
The difference between NATO involvement in Macedonia as compared to Bosnia, Kosovo Afghanistan, and earlier in Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea and Cuba
The earlier NATO involvement in Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea and Cuba was a part of the West's fight againt the spread of Communism. The last chapter of this anti-communist campaign was in Afghanistan. The Afghanistan chapter of the West's campaign against Communism was the most unfortunate part. Since it was this last effort that lead to the formation of a anti-Communist force that was also anti-West, anti-Christian and incidentally also anti-Civilization and anti-progress - The rejuvenated Islamic Jihad.
The monster that the West created in Afghanistan
The monster that the West created in Afghanistan is now threatening the West and also the rest of the non-Islamic world.
But even then, the West had, till recently, tried to buy off this new threat to is existence; by intervening in Bosnia, and Kosovo (Bombing of Serbia) on the declared intention of defending the Muslims populations there which were being threatened by the Serbs. In the process, the West repeated the mistake they did in Afghanistan (in spite of the Cold War having ended). And in consequence, they created an Islamic force that now threatens all the non-Muslim entities locally in the Balkans.
This force when it becomes powerful enough, can certainly threaten Western Civilization itself - as the Jihadis that came out of the Afghan chapter do today.
Unrest in Upcountry England
The unrest that was seen in various towns of upcountry England (Oldham, Leeds, Manchester, etc) underscored the fact that Muslims never integrate themselves into any non-Muslim society and when they reach an essential mass in terms of numbers, start creating disturbances against the non-Muslims.
NATO intervention in Macedonia is the first one against the Muslims
Now the West seems to have realized the fallout of its actions in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo. Its intervention in Macedonia is the first one against the Muslims. Although, ridiculously mild in its aim of only "collecting" weapons that are voluntarily surrendered by the Muslim Albanians, the underlying motive comes out clear. Howsoever NATO may try to camouflage it, the fact remains that the NATO is in Macedonia to nip in the bud the new chapter of the Islamic Jihad. Although the stated aim is to apply brakes on the process of the partition of Macedonia on communal-ethnic lines.
Let it be noted now that what NATO is doing in Albania today, it will have to do in the West Bank and Gaza tomorrow, followed by other parts of the world wherever there is unrest being created by Islamic terrorists.
The implications are far-reaching. The new theatres where NATO could be involved are a resurgent Iraq, a deteriorating Kashmir, an Afghanistan that more brazenly hosts anti-American terrorists, a Saudi Arabia where the regime of the royal house of Saud is threatened by radical Islamists of the Osama Bin Laden variety.
Possible Future American military intervention in Saudi Arabia?
This last possibility is something that haunts the West and more so the Americans most of all. They want to preserve the tranquility of the Saudi peninsula, under the clients, the royal house of Saud. And the royal house of Saud, in our assessment is living on borrowed time. Sooner or later, the moderate (pro-American) governments in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan would face the heat of the rabidly anti-West anti-American, Islamic terrorists. This would unleash the entire latent anti-West and basically anti-Christian sentiment in the masses in the Islamic world. A prospect that is scary for the Americans and also to the rest of humankind. But this is bound to happen. Our prognosis is based on what is happening in different parts of the volatile Islamic world today - especially in the hotbed of West Bank/Gaza.
And whenever this logical scenario happens, it will lead us towards the formation of a comprehensive global alliance. An alliance to counter this scenario. And it is this global alliance to fight Theology-inspired Terrorism, that we are talking about below:
Repeal the ABM Treaty, Dissolve the NATO and the defunct Warsaw Pact and moot a comprehensive global Pact to fight Theology-inspired Terrorism
Now with new genre of wars like that in Macedonia, Israel, Kashmir, Chechnya, South Philippines etc, taking the place of the Cold War; we need to prepare to face the challenges of the future. In this context let us refer to the recent seminal Address of President George Bush at the National Defence University, Washington D.C., some time back where he said: "Like Saddam Hussein, some of today's tyrants are gripped by an implacable hatred of the United States of America. They hate our friends, they hate our values, they hate democracy, and freedom and individual liberty. Many care little for the lives of their own people. In such a world, Cold War deterrence is no longer enough."
Well said Mr. President Sir. But when you say "no longer enough" we hope that you imply that not only will the deterrence be retained, but that it will be improved further.
Let us hear you underline that you will also increase the capability of the US Military to overcome and destroy those retrograde forces who seek to destroy Human civilization. And for these retrograde forces you have aptly said that "terror and blackmail are a way of life."
We agree with you when you say; "We must seek security based on more than the grim premise that we can destroy those who seek to destroy us."
In this scenario it is all the more necessary that we grow out of the Cold War mindset and prepare ourselves mentally to rescind the ABM Treaty, Dissolve the NATO and the defunct Warsaw Pact and moot a comprehensive global Pact to fight Theology-inspired Terrorism.
