This is a charge that is oft repeated to blunt the ongoing War on Terror. The old story of the American supply of arms to the anti-Soviet Mujahideens is thrown up to say that Osama is America's creation. And so, they say that it is the Americans who have to be blamed for whatever Osama is doing today.
Yes, the Americans created Osama's image in the World. They armed him, and provided him with a base and a platform. But this is all on the surface. The fanatic in Osama was always there, independent of the Americans.
The Americans cannot be 'credited' for having created the outlook Osama represents; to which ultimately, his character and temperament owes its existence. The Yanks did not create what fundamentally motivates Osama Bin Laden and carries his appeal to Muslim youths across the globe.

The fanatic in Osama was created by the outlook he represents to which he owes his character and temperament. Osama's character and temperament come from Islam founded by Prophet Mohammed.
We want to ask these folks if they consider Mohammed Paigamber also to be an American creation? Did the USA send in arms and ammunition to the founder of Islam to start the world's first recorded global terror campaign named Jihad?
No obviously not, the USA did not exist in the 632, i.e. almost one thousand four hundred years back when the mind of one person crazed with the desire for conquest of all the Kafirs infidels (all those who did not believe in Allah) let loose the campaign of terror called Jihad on Persia and Byzantine. What was it that has motivated Osama Bin Laden and all other Muslims to fight all the Kafirs (infidels) to either forcibly convert them to Islam or to kill or torment them into humiliation, physical torture till they submitted to Islam?
The Real reasons why Osama's got created
For an answer let us see what are the Real reasons for Osama's creation. To what does Osama and the outlook he represents owes its existence. What fundamentally motivates Osama Bin Laden and carries his appeal to Muslim youths across the globe. Everyone knows that it is their Islamic faith that motivates them in a very primal way. And the Islamic faith is enshrined in the Quran. What advice does the Quran give to its followers? Let us ask Ali Sina a former Muslim, who has done us the seminal favor of telling us what lies in the Quran.
He says that the Quran preaches cruelty, and incites violence to disturb public tranquility. Here are some quotations from the Quran given with chapter and verse numbers.
Surah 9: Ayat 123. Believers! Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you.
Surah 9: Ayat 39. If you do not fight, He (Allah) will punish you sternly and replace you with other men…
Surah 4: Ayat 100. He that flies his homeland for the cause of Allah shall find numerous places of refuge in the land and great abundance. He that leaves his dwelling to fight for Allah and His apostle and is then overtaken by death, shall be rewarded by Allah.
Surah 8: Ayats 59-60. Let the unbelievers not think that they will escape Us. They have not the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your disposal, so that you may strike terror into the enemies of Allah and the faithful, and others besides them. All that you give for the cause of Allah shall be repaid you. You shall not be wronged.
Surah 9: Ayat 29. Fight against such of those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe neither in Allah nor the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His apostle have forbidden, and do not embrace the true faith, until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued.
Surah 8: Ayat 67. It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land....
Let us finally bury the Myth that it was the USA that created Osama Bin Laden
So let us finally bury the lie that it was the USA that created Osama Bin Laden. No sir, the Americans have not doe that. They can only be credited with having short-sighted in supplying weaponry to a mindset that is nihilistic and so is opposed to everything that is not like itself - the Islamic mindset. In doing so, the Americans did create something that is dangerous for everyone who is not a part of that mindset. A danger to Communism as well as to Capitalism; to the USA as well as to the UK as well as to the USSR (had it existed today); a danger to the Christians, as well as to the Jews, Hindus and all other religious communities, a danger to the Whites, as well as to the black and browns, and yellow and whatever color human beings come in if they are not Muslim, a danger to the Anglo-Saxon, Hispanics, Slavs, Semitics, Maorios, Bushmen, Bantus Eskimos, as long as they were not Muslims; a danger to Mongoloids, Negroids, Caucasoids, as long as they were not Muslims. The list can go on endlessly; the only common denominator for being an enemy of Osama Bin Laden is that you happen to non-Muslim whatever be your skin colour, nationality, ethnicity, or whatever other distinguishing element.
It is not USA, but Mohammed Paigamber who is to be credited for creating Osama Bin Laden
So if you are not a Muslim, you are enemy of Laden. And this is something which Osama has not learnt from the American who are supposed to be his creators. This he has learnt from Mohammed Paigamber; who instead of America should be credited for creating Osama Bin Laden. . The earlier we realize this - the better it would be, to counter the phony cacophony of Osama being an American creation; and also to go ahead with devising the future strategy in the War against Terror.
